  7pm – “Parade of Flags” 

730- 9pm – Pan African/Africa Travel Forum – Presented by socio-economic developer Rev. Dr. Eugene Franklin, architect of the Pan African Cultural Heritage Tourism Initiative: The formal launch of a global network that will allow all participants in the industry to work together in partnership with a non-profit organization to promote black cultural heritage tourism. The forum will include brief presentations from African and Pan African representatives.

9: PM – 10pm -Opening Reception

  Saturday, August 27th

 8am – 9am – Breakfast (no charge for hotel guest)

 9am – 11:45am – (down time, set-up for Travel Expo, briefings)

12 noon – 1:45 – Hall of Fame Luncheon ($50 pre-registration) Key Speaker is Dr. Walter Mzembi, African Union – endorsed United Nations World Tourism Organization Secretary General Candidate

(2pm – 2:30- Press conference with Dr. Walter Mzembi)

2pm – 4:30pm – Pan African and African Travel Expo (Free & open to public)

7pm – 10pm – African Diaspora World Tourism Awards Gala ($75 preregistration) 

 Sunday, August 28th

8:am – Breakfast (no charge for hotel guests)

9am – 11am – Pan African/African Closing Breakfast – (special meetings)

12:30 – 4pm – Tour Atlanta (optional, pre-registration required)

 The event will take place at the Westin Atlanta Airport Hotel.  (Registraion required for Opening Reception, Luncheon, Awards Gala)
